As many of you may know 1960's solid-state technology isn't exactly quiet! The original Wurlitzer amps suffer by design. Component wear and tear does play a part in creating noise and issues. The majority of issues associated with Wurlitzer noise come from poor circuit design.
Warneck Research amps retain the original tone and feel but in a more efficient fashion in comparison with original Wurlitzer amp design or lower quality reissue's of the original.
Our amps faithfully maintains the Soul and voice of an original 200 series wurlitzer but without all the fuss.
The Vibrato shape and sound is spot-on to the original and installation is simple! About a half hour of time, some hand tools and a Cold Beverage of choice gets the job done! You don't even need a soldering iron! Or have one of our Authorized Tech Centers install an electronics package for you!
The Warneck EP amp boards feature a redesigned and improved power amplifier which has an extremely low noise floor- no more hiss, buzz, hum or radio interference (RF) noise. A selectable variable or fixed line-output has been added which is ideal for studio recording or plugging straight into your favorite amplifier. These are so quiet you can max the volume and barely tell its powered on! We also include reed bar shields with every 200 series amplifier.
Each amp board is hand assembled and quality control tested here at our North Wales, PA Location.
